दे बीड़ा रघुनाथ पठाए। लंका जारि सिया सुधि लाए॥

De Bida Raghunath Pathaye. Lanka Jari Siya Sudhi Laye.
English meaning
Raghunath gave the betel and sent him. He burned Lanka and brought news of Sita.

लंका सो कोट समुद्र-सी खाई। जात पवनसुत बार न लाई॥
Roman transliteration
Lanka So Kot Samudra-Si Khai. Jaat Pawanasut Bar Na Laai.
English meaning
Lanka has walls like a fort and a moat like the ocean. Yet the son of Pavan (wind) went there without hesitation.
