Verse 1

ॐ जय शिव ओंकारा, स्वामी जय शिव ओंकारा। ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, सदाशिव, अर्द्धांगी धारा॥

Roman transliteration

Om Jai Shiv Omkara, Swami Jai Shiv Omkara. Brahma, Vishnu, Sadashiv, Ardhangee Dhara.

English meaning

Om, glory to Lord Shiva, the primordial sound. Who holds Brahma, Vishnu and Sadashiva as his half-body.

Verse 2

एकानन चतुरानन पंचानन राजे। हंसासन गरुड़ासन वृषवाहन साजे॥

Roman transliteration

Ekanan Chaturanan Panchanaan Raje. Hansasan Garudasan Vrushavahan Saje.

English meaning

One-faced, four-faced and five-faced forms rule. Riding a swan, eagle and bull respectively.

Verse 3

दो भुज चार चतुर्भुज दशभुज अति सोहे। त्रिगुण रूप निरखते, त्रिभुवन जन मोहे॥

Roman transliteration

Do Bhuj Char Chaturbhuj Dashbhuj Ati Sohe. Trigun Roop Nirkhate, Tribhuvan Jan Mohe.

English meaning

Two-armed, four-armed and ten-armed forms are beautiful. The three-natured form, seeing whom all three worlds are enchanted.

Verse 4

अक्षमाला बनमाला, रुण्डमाला धारी। चंदन मृगमद सोहे, भाले शशिधारी॥

Roman transliteration

Akshamala Banmala, Rundmala Dhari. Chandan Mrigmad Sohe, Bhale Shashidhari.

English meaning

Wearing garlands of beads, forest flowers and skulls. Adorned with sandalwood and musk, moon on his forehead.

Verse 5

श्वेतांबर पीतांबर बाघंबर अंगे। सनकादिक गरुड़ादिक भूतादिक संगे॥

Roman transliteration

Shwetambar Pitambar Baghambr Ange. Sanakadik Garudadik Bhutadik Sange.

English meaning

Clad in white, yellow and tiger skin garments. Accompanied by Sanaka, Garuda and the ghosts and spirits.
