About Aarti Sangrah
Aarti Sangrah brings Hindi devotional lyrics, reading aids and available recordings into one collection. The public website currently contains 9 aarti entries. Each entry has its own page, so you can return to a particular hymn or share its address.
What you will find here
The Aarti text view contains the verses supplied in our catalog, alongside Roman transliteration and English meanings. These are verse selections; we do not claim that every selection is a complete or definitive edition. A recording may use a different wording, repeat a refrain or include further verses.
Reading notes and corrections
The reading notes discuss imagery and structure in the displayed verses. They are separate from the hymn text and do not establish authorship, historical dates or a single authoritative ritual practice. Transliteration is a pronunciation aid; an English meaning is an interpretation rather than a word-for-word replacement.
Synchronized text comes from timestamp files associated with the recordings. Some passages still need correction. When a passage is visibly corrupted, the player marks the lyric as unavailable rather than guessing the missing words.
Contact and content enquiries
To suggest a correction, email aartisangrah@gmail.com with the aarti page address, the verse or playback time, and your suggested wording and source. Recording owners can use the same address for attribution or rights enquiries. We do not claim ownership of traditional hymn texts or every linked recording.
